NursesWeCare Mask Fit Test Service – Policies, Terms and Conditions 1. Service Description NursesWeCare offers CSA-compliant qualitative mask fit testing performed by a Registered Nurse (RN) trained in Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) and Occupational Health Nursing. This service includes: A mask fit test using Bitrex or Saccharin solution (qualitative method) Issuance of a certificate (QR Code wallet card size certificate) Optional laminated infection control guides and wellness screenings 2. Eligibility and Consent Clients must be 18 years or older (or provide guardian consent if underage). Fit testing is only valid for the specific brand and model of N95 respirator tested. Clients must confirm they are not experiencing respiratory symptoms or active illness on the day of testing. Clients consent to participate and understand the test is not a substitute for a medical examination. 3. Certificate Validity Fit test certificates are valid for 24 months or sooner if: There is a significant weight change or facial surgery A different model or brand of mask is used It is the client's responsibility to maintain their certificate and notify employers of changes. 4. Cancellation and Refund Policy Please inform us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel an appointment to process a full refund. Group bookings require 48-hour notice for any changes or cancellations 5. Safety and Infection Control All equipment is disinfected between tests. NursesWeCare follows CSA-Z94.4-18 guidelines and local public health recommendations. Clients may request the laminated IPAC Quick Guide and badge sticker for reference. 6. Data and Privacy Your personal and health information is securely stored and used only for service documentation. We do not share your data without your written consent unless required by law. 7. Limitations This is not an accredited training course. It provides mask fit certification only. This service is not intended to replace formal respiratory protection programs for high-risk occupational settings requiring quantitative testing.
