Program Overview
The NursesWeCare RN Train-the-Trainer Program is a structured, in-person professional education program designed for Registered Nurses (RNs) seeking to develop competency in workplace Respirator Fit Testing.​
​
This program supports the development of internal nursing capacity for workplace respirator fit testing in alignment with CAN/CSA-Z94.4-18 standards.​
​
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
• analyze aerosol transmission risks in healthcare environments
• explain respirator filtration mechanisms and limitations
• demonstrate qualitative respirator fit testing procedures
• apply infection prevention principles to respirator use
• support workplace respiratory protection education

Who This Program Is For
This program is intended for Registered Nurses engaged in employee health, occupational safety, or clinical education roles within their organization.
​
Applicants must hold active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing and demonstrate a professional interest in respiratory protection programs, infection prevention and control, or occupational health nursing practice.
​
Certificate of Completion
Participants who complete all required program components will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by NursesWeCare Academy.
​
This certificate acknowledges participation in structured professional education and demonstrated competency validation within the scope of the program. It does not authorize independent practice outside the employer or constitute external accreditation or certification.
​
Delivery Format
Training is delivered in person at the NursesWeCare training site. Each session incorporates structured theoretical instruction, facilitated discussion, instructor demonstration, and supervised hands-on competency practice to support safe and accurate application in workplace settings.

Enrollment and Application
Enrollment is by application. Interested nurses are invited to submit an expression of interest for upcoming sessions.

NursesWeCare Academy is a nurse-led education and mentorship hub designed to support healthcare professionals seeking practical, evidence-informed training in occupational health and infection prevention and control practice.​
​
Programs emphasize clinical judgment, professional accountability, and hands-on learning. Training is intentionally small-group and mentorship-based to ensure quality, safety, and meaningful skill development.
